Hangovers beware: this legendary Glasgow brunch restaurant is coming to Edinburgh

Legendary Glasgow brunch restaurant The Brunch Club is set to open its doors in Edinburgh later this year.

Housed in what used to be Scruffy Murphy's on Melville Street in the West End , the new Edinburgh branch of the all day brunch restaurant is set to become a favourite for the day after the night before.

If the Glasgow venue is anything to go by, we're expecting our East-Side Brunch Club to take off.

What can you expect? Well, from browsing their menu online , we're hoping that you'll be seeing some of their delights such as banana bread toasted with coffee mascarpone and candied walnuts drizzled with honey, full fry-ups (veggie and vegan offerings included) and chicken and waffles here in Edinburgh as well.

As for their pancakes, you can forget syrup, The Brunch Club piles them high with a coconut panna cotta, fresh lemon curd and salted meringue.

Bloody Mary Doll (which wins the prize of best drink name ever in our books) is a hangover destroying twist on the classic - with vodka, spices selected by the restaurant, tomato juice and topped with Buckfast.

Keep up to date with the progress of the new venue on The Brunch Club's Facebook .
