A "hammered" best man was left shunned by a wedding party after pushing the groom's mother into a pool "as a joke".
The awkward incident happened in Spain and a guest described how the reaction "couldn't have gone worse" as he was left shunned for the remainder of the trip.
Taking to Reddit, the guest said the best man's girlfriend was "mortified" by the incident and that the best man in question "still showed up to everything and got quietly pissed by himself" over the next few days.

It was one of a number of horror stories shared by users who attended different celebrations around Ireland - CorkBeo reports.
One commenter responded to the cringey story saying they were at another one as a child where the bride "spent the night dancing raunchily with another male guest in front of everyone in the middle of the floor".
They said: "It got so bad that everyone stood round in a circle watching them with nobody else on the dancefloor. The best man jumped in between them and tried to distract the bride but ended up dancing around them as they grinded. The groom was at the bar getting hammered and the guest's gf stormed out.
"Everyone thought they'd break up. They're still married."
Another person described the ultimate no-no where another guest turned up wearing a white dress that looked a "bit bridal".
They said: "Row ensues between the girl and the bride's sister at reception. Two girls in full hair pulling hand bags, mammies involved and some poor bar man trying to separate the combatants.
"All caught by the videographer but funny enough wasn't in the official release."
One worker who said they'd worked over 500 weddings also recalled a series of jaw-dropping stories including one where the groom matched with their head chef on the dating app Grindr adding that "the profile pic was him in his wedding suit standing outside the wedding suite".
They also told of a fight breaking out between two bridesmaids because one ate another's cheesecake.
