Hamilton Accies stars pictured as they return to training

Hamilton Accies players were all smiles as they returned to training today for the first time since the coronavirus lockdown.

Boss Brian Rice and assistant Guillaume Beuzelin were given the chance to run the rule over the squad, including new signing Ross Callachan, while looking over the rest of their squad.

Hamilton stars are later in getting back to training than some of their Premiership rivals, such as Motherwell, Celtic and Ross County, but are preparing for the league kick-off on August 1, with fixtures due out on Monday morning.

This is the first time that anybody at Hamilton has been able to get back to action since football shut down in March.

Amongst those who were pictured returning to New Douglas Park were defender Ciarian McKenna, midfielders Scott Martin and Lewis Smith, goalkeeper Kyle Gourlay and Academy graduate Kyle Munro, a winger who is likely to feature in Brian Rice's plans this season.
