Hamilton Accies fans claim "fundamental mismanagement" of their club is threatening its very existence after the SPFL imposed further sanctions of them.
Accies were already under a transfer embargo after being deducted 15 points last season, sending them towards relegation from the Championship to League One.
The SPFL today announced that the embargo had been extended to apply for the full season ahead and the club had been fined a further £7,500 (£5,000 suspended).
That was as a result of admitting to three more breaches of SPFL rules after failing to comply with tax obligations to HMRC, and failing to notify league chiefs of this.
Accies Supporters Association are growing increasingly concerned about the future of the club under it's current regime and are planning a protest.
They are also demanding a meeting with their club and the SPFL.

A spokesperson said: "We wish to express our profound disappointment and deep concern regarding the alarming managerial and operational failures that have plagued our beloved club. We, the loyal supporters, are witnessing a shocking decline that threatens the existence of one of Scotland's oldest football institutions.
"Today's confirmation of a 'season-long transfer embargo' by the SPFL is a direct consequence of the club's repeated failure 'to settle its tax obligations.' Furthermore, the SPFL has stated that the club admitted to 'further breaches of SPFL rules by failing to settle its tax obligations to HMRC on three occasions, and for failing to notify the SPFL that it had been in default of its tax obligations to HMRC on each occasion'. These are grave admissions of fundamental mismanagement.
"Beyond the tax and registration issues, the decision to play home fixtures at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld this season without a true consultation of fans further highlights a deeply troubling instability.
"Given these monumental concerns, the Supporters' Association demand an urgent and transparent meeting with the club's leadership, the ASA and the SPFL. It is imperative that all parties sit down with the supporters' representatives to address these critical issues that are jeopardising the future of Hamilton Academical Football Club. Our community deserves clarity, accountability, and a clear plan to rectify these repeated failings.
"To underscore the severity of our concerns and our unwavering commitment to the future of Hamilton Academical, the Supporters' Association will be organising a peaceful protest against the board outside Broadwood Stadium on Saturday 2nd August before the first league game of the season. We will be running buses from the Academical Vaults at 1.30pm costing £5 per head.
"The fast-moving nature of the board's calamities means that the quickest we can mobilise is on August 2nd, however we urge all loyal supporters to join us to make our voices heard in demanding immediate change for our club."
