Hamilton Accies have announced a packed programme of pre-season friendlies, which will take the new-look squad up to the Betfred League Cup group stages.
Brian Rice’s side are first in action against League One Raith Rovers at Stark’s Park on Thursday, July 4, at 7.30pm.
They then follow that up with a trip to face Coatbridge side Albion Rovers at Cliftonhill on Saturday, July 6, at 2pm.
Tuesday, July 9, sees a visit to Dumbarton’s C&G Systems Stadium for a 7.30pm kick-off.
That takes them up to their Betfred Cup Group F opener at home to Queen’s Park on Saturday, July 13 at 3pm.
Accies have an ‘away’ fixture against Clyde on Tuesday, July 16, which is to be confirmed, but is almost certainly at New Douglas Park, while Clyde relay their surface.
Accies host Partick Thistle on Saturday, July 20 (3pm) before visiting near-neighbours Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium seven days later (also 3pm).
In addition, Hamilton’s under-18s will take part in the annual Oban Saints tournament on Saturday, July 13, from 11am-4pm.
The Premiership season gets underway on the weekend of August 3 and 4, with fixtures issued on Friday, June 21.
