I was fortunate enough to spend one evening this week in a tucked-away wine bar celebrating H&M's new collaboration with the iconic beachfront boutique hotel Palm Heights. I spotted the space as soon as I turned the corner onto the street, rich yellow awnings (the same hue that features throughout the collection and at the hotel) sat above bistro tables as a crowd mulled around with exquisite-looking drinks in hand.
The space was the perfect spot to showcase the new collection, much like the Palm Heights hotel, there was a sun-drenched, retro, 1970s feel. I had escaped to another, far more relaxed world.
And that's what this new collaboration is about, bringing a touch of a luxury vacation into your home. 'This collection is about capturing that magical feeling of being on holiday in your home,' explains Palm Heights' creative director Gabriella Khalil. 'That could be a relaxing, beautiful moment in your bathroom feeling fantastic in your robe, or having guests come over and creating memories around a table with special glassware. While Palm Heights is a highly visual and chic space, there is also a real playfulness about it at the same time and the mix of both of these worlds would be my ideal for people to take away from the collection.'

The collection is made up of 23 pieces, there's glassware, home accessories, robes, towels, fragrances, and more, all challenging that 1970 Palm Heights style. The key colors are yellow and brown, a combination that is a big color trend for this summer and mirrors the palette of the hotel – the yellow is the exact shade used on the resort's sun umbrellas.
'There is something magical about the lifestyle of personal design hotels and the creative personalities behind these projects,' says Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, Head of Design & Creative at H&M HOME.
'Gabriella’s vision for Palm Heights is captivating, blending bold aesthetics with a vibrant, retro charm that feels fresh and contemporary. This partnership and the collection marries the hotel’s energy, style, and sense of escapism with our approach to creating affordable, modern design – inspiring interior enthusiasts all over the world to create personal and stylish spaces.'

Brown is the unexpected color of the summer, and paired with a rich sunny yellow, as it is in this collection, creates that perfect luxurious retro feel. This classic stripe pillow is reversible, and the piping gives it an extra expensive feel.
This is a beautiful piece; they had them placed around the venue, both as candle holders and just as decor within a vignette to give some height. They are heavy and so textured – made from 100% stone.
The classic '70s-inspired amber hue of this glass jug is very Palm Heights, and there's a matching set of tumblers too, which, placed together on a tray and filled with a delicious icy drink, creates the perfect vacation feel to your outdoor hosting.
I think the towels will be some of the collection's best sellers. Giving retro poolside luxe and embroidered with Palm Heights' logo in the hotel's colors, this is a key piece in the collaboration.
Another piece I see being very popular from the collection is the robes. These look like they have been taken straight from the rooms of Palm Heights, the perfect way to add a touch of luxury hotel to your bathroom.
Handmade from straw and jute, this basket would look so lovely filled with lemons and placed on a kitchen island or countertop, or pop on your bar cart to add some texture.
Bring the luxurious scent of Palm Heights into your home with this reed diffuser, with layers of sweet sun-ripened plums and tropical tonka beans and rich cedarwood, and tobacco leaves.
This cushion certainly has luxury resort feels and would be perfect for an outdoor bench or even dotted about the patio floor for lounging. It's also available in the classic yellow shade too.
There are some playful pieces in the collection, including this set and a very stylish backgammon set. The chicest bat and ball I have ever come across.
