STUFF

Seiko 5 Sports Super Cub Limited Edition / Seiko

Beside the road, you may see ‘Super Cub’ on someone's wrist as Honda's iconic scooter is introduced as a stylish timepiece by Seiko. Honouring one of the world’s most produced motorcycles in history, the Japanese watchmaker rolls out the limited edition Seiko 5 Sports watch that expresses the Super Cub's design features in every detail. As seen from the front, the motorbike's silhouette is captured on the dial, with its indexes that represent the headlights and blinkers, while the watch crown looks playful in a fuel gauge design. Autumn 2022 Collection With Adidas: Double-sided Baseball Cap / Gucci

As part of the Autumn 2022 collection, Gucci reunites with Adidas for a collab collection named ‘Exquisite’. What's worth mentioning is an oddity — also fashionable — from its accessories division: the double-sided baseball cap. As the wild hat is joined at the seam, you can style each side with different looks, whether the side featuring the ‘GG Supreme’ canvas with the collab Trefoil embroidery; or the Adidas’ three stripes on solid cavas on the other. Check out gucci.com.

Summer 2022 Collection: Lay's Pouch Bag / Balenciaga

The headline-grabbing item from Balenciaga's Summer 2022 ‘The Mud Show’ collection at Paris Fashion Week was a series of pouches that resembled a packet of Lays. Much like a Lays, the handbags are leather altered for a shiny, crinkly texture. Besides offering the world's most expensive trash bag, the Spanish fashion house has proved that everything is fashionable. Remember those ‘Khlong Toey’ bags? Visit balenciaga.com/en-th.

Amado Presents The Very Normal of Moderndog / KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Center of Performing Arts / Oct 22-23, Oct 29-30

After several postponements, legendary Thai rock band Moderndog will finally perform their four rounds of concerts this weekend and the next. Frontman Thanachai ‘Pod’ Ujjin said, “These shows are very special compared to our previous ones. Instead of performing heavy rock music, we will be performing acoustic versions of our songs. We haven’t performed an acoustic concert in almost 20 years — since our first acoustic show, the Very Common of Moderndog, in 2002.” Pod added that that concert was regarded as one of their best shows so they decided to bring it back. They will perform hits from every album with acoustic instruments such as piano, violin, viola and other musical instruments. Tickets via Thai Ticket Major at bit.ly/36pPP1n. Tickets are priced at B1,800 or B2,800.

WATCH

Black Adam in cinemas / Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra.

Who's in it?

Dwayne Johnson, Viola Davis, Pierce Brosnan and Sarah Shahi.

What's it about?

The movie is a spinoff and sequel to the 2019 movie 'Shazam!'. ‘Black Adam’, a powerful being on par with Superman, is the original champion of the wizard Shazam, but unlike his heroic counterpart, Adam’s sense of morality is often a bit more… let’s say flexible. The film tells the story of the character’s return to the mortal world after spending time in a magical prison. We can only guess what terrible vengeance he will have in store for the world.

Why watch it?

The movie also features several characters from the Justice Society Of America, making it a must-watch for DC fans.

Triangle Of Sadness at House of Samyan / Directed by Ruben Östlund.

Who's in it?

Woody Harrelson, Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean.

What's it about?

A cruise for the super-rich sinks thus leaving survivors, including a fashion model celebrity couple, trapped on an island.

Why watch it?

'Below Deck' meets 'Titanic' meets 'The White Lotus', that’s 'Triangle Of Sadness'. Oh, and the satirical black comedy premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Palme d’Or and earned an eight-minute standing ovation.
