Guns N' Roses set to play UK gig in 2020

Rock band Guns N' Roses are coming to the UK in 2020, it has been announced.

The American group, who last visited these isles in 2018, will perform at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London on Friday, May 29, 2020.

The gig in the capital is the only UK date in the tour confirmed so far, but online reports suggest a Scotland show could be on the cards too.

For Bristol music fans, though, a short trip across to London to see the iconic rockers will no doubt be an attractive prospect.

Tickets to watch Axl Rose, Slash and co in action go on sale on Wednesday, December 18.

Guns N' Roses achieved worldwide fame following the release of their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, in 1987. The album included the songs Welcome to the Jungle and Sweet Child of Mine.

The group, which earned the nickname 'the most dangerous band in the world', are now among the best-selling artists of all time.

Lead guitarist Slash, considered one of the greatest guitarists ever, was actually born in Stoke-on-Trent, England, before moving to the States as a youngster.

The Edinburgh Evening News website and Planet Rock have both reported a Scottish gig will be announced next year.
