The Guardian US has won an News & Documentary Emmy in the New Approaches: Current News Coverage category for Beyond the border: The US’s Deadly Immigration Crisis. The interactive four-part series, in partnership with The Texas Observer, examines the humanitarian crisis 70 miles north of the border in Brooks County, Texas.

The News & Documentary Emmy Awards are one of the most prestigious honours in the US, recognising outstanding achievement in broadcast journalism and documentary filmmaking.
