Guardian Focus Podcast: How will the changes to budget affect the NHS?

David Cameron told the world last year that he loved the NHS, and pledged to put in more money. Cameron and the health secretary Andrew Lansley keep repeating the NHS's budget is being protected and will increase in real terms every year of this parliament. If that's the case, why is the NHS complaining about the cuts? And what will this mean to patients?

Hugh Muir gets to grips with changes to the NHS budget with the Guardian's health editor Sarah Boseley. They talk to John Appleby the chief advisor of the Kings Fund, chief executive of Warwickshire PCT Steve Jones, Warwickshire GP Francis Campbell, and chief executive of Kings College Hospital Tim Smart.
