Guardian Daily: Scapegoat fears for Briton accused of Iraq murders

Danny Fitzsimons, the British security worker accused of shooting dead two colleagues in Iraq, should be tried in the UK, according to his family. John Tipple, Fitzsimons' legal caseworker, has spoken by telephone to the 29-year-old former paratrooper, currently held in a Baghdad jail. He says Fitzsimons could be made a scapegoat by the Iraqis.
