Group of youths filmed King's Cross assault that left young woman with broken jaw

A young woman suffered a broken jaw and ankle when she was attacked by a young man at King’s Cross Underground Station - while his friends reportedly stood by and filmed.

The young woman was travelling home with a friend around 12.30am on March 6 when they were approached by a group of five young men.

“One of them attacked the woman while another of the group filmed the assault,” said a British Transport Police (BTP) spokesperson on Thursday.

“The woman sustained a broken jaw and ankle in the attack.”

BTP has released a CCTV image of two young men they wish to trace.

“Officers would like to speak to the young men in the CCTV images as they believe they may have information that could help their investigation,” said the force.

Anyone who recognises them, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 13 of 6 March.
