Greater Manchester Bonfire Night 2022 firework displays and events

Autumn is well and truly upon us. The clocks have gone back, the nights are starting to draw in and hazy summer days are now far behind us.

But, there's plenty to enjoy about autumn, including the chance to gather around a roaring bonfire and enjoy some spectacular firework displays. Bonfire Night 2022 celebrations have been announced across all ten local boroughs, offering everything from live music to funfairs.

However, some of the region's biggest bonfire events - like the ones in Heaton Park and Platt Fields will not be taking place after council bosses axed Bonfire Night displays. After two years of disruption due to the coronavirus pandemic, many Mancunions had been hoping to attend one of the city's much-loved firework displays in 2022.

But, Manchester City Council announced earlier this month that the the popular events would not be returning this year, with rising costs being one of the key factors. Below you'll find the bonfire events confirmed in Greater Manchester. Let us know if you would like one included by emailing newsdesk@men-news.co.uk.
