Motorists who travel along busy Great Western Road might want to make a mental note this week - and perhaps find another route for a few days.
Glasgow City Council has issued a roadworks notice for the busy road at its Napiershall Street junction, with work starting tomorrow (Tuesday, May 14).
The main road will be reduced to one lane each way between 9.30am and 4.30pm, and Napiershall Steet will be shut between Great Western Road and North Woodside Road too.

The roadworks - in place so that resurfacing can be carried out - will run until Thursday (May 16) and again on Sunday (May 19).
Delays are expected, especially at peak times, and local access will be maintained throughout.
