Day one of the Grand National Festival continues with the fifth race on A Day Of Champions - the Foxhunters’ Open Hunters’ Chase.
Live on ITV at 4.05pm, it is considered one of the most exciting races of the National Hunt season and a real highlight at Aintree .
It is open to amateur jockeys and horses aged six or older only, who compete over 18 fences over the famous Aintree course.
Road To Rome is the current favourite with the bookmakers in a field of 27 runners, but Burning Ambition has strong form claims.
Ucello Conti is likely to be popular with punters after finishing sixth in the Grand National in 2016, while Wonderful Charm was an easy winner on his seasonal return at Doncaster in February.
