On a night that saw producer and musician Beck and singer Sam Smith sweep the awards, the Grammys provided plenty of touchscreen-tapping fodder for all the famouses. There was Madonna’s matador-inspired outfit and performance, Kanye West almost pulling another Taylor Swift-style “I’mma let you finishwhen Beck picked up his album of the year award, and an AC/DC opening set featuring audience members wearing light-up devil horns. That’s entertainment, apparently – and this what some celebrities made of it all.

Beck’s album of the year win divided opinion

Kim Kardashian seemed to agree with husband Kanye West’s post-award rant, that Beyoncé deserved the award over Beck. Not so for Gaga. In non-attendee news, rapper Azealia Banks highlighted Lana Del Rey’s nomination snubs for 2014’s Ultraviolence:

Sam Smith was very excited about his four gongs

Sibling pop-house duo Disclosure and electronic music producer Tourist (part of Smith’s winning team for Stay With Me as song of the year) rebranded the whole night The Sammys, in Smith’s honour.

Unsurprisingly, other musicians have a lot of love for Prince

Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift were left starstruck by Madonna

Is Grande okay? She looks like she might be about to vomit. There was a calmer, almost dazed take from Swift, later retweeted by Madonna:

Meanwhile, Madonna was star-struck by her own breasts

Ryan Adams lifted the veil on AC/DC’s devil horn intro set

And, of course, there was the post-show gratitude

See? They’re real people just like the rest of us, taking to social media to let their friends know all the ordinary things they’ve been doing on a Sunday night. Comforting, that.
