Graham Dorrans joins Dunfermline as former Rangers and Dundee star pens two-year deal

Dunfermline have announced the signing of Graham Dorrans on a two-year deal.

The former Rangers and Dundee star was a free agent after leaving Western Sydney Wanderers following a season in Australia.

Dunfermline will be hoping to continue their red-hot start to the season after qualifying for the last 16 of the Betfred Cup and securing a trip to Ibrox to face Rangers.

Dorrans told Mail Sport last week he is fully fit and Peter Grant has placed his faith in the 34-year-old former Scotland international.

He said: "I've plenty more to come. My time with Rangers was disappointing. I spent between 18 months to two years out injured.

"But I managed to get back playing at Dundee and my knee was fine. I felt good.

"I played every game and trained every day.

"I never missed a single session and that continued when I went out to Australia.

"The style of play that Kenny and the manager wanted suited me and made it enjoyable so it was good to get back PLAYING .

"My knee is fine and I still have a lot to give over the next few years. I will take my time and see what the options are .

"I love playing football and I'm 34 now so I want to pick the right option."
