Liverpool legend and Sky Sports pundit Graeme Souness has revealed his "worry" over the current crop at Tottenham Hotspur which would suggest there are lingering issues within the squad that have not been addressed since captain Hugo Lloris lambasted his own teammates last season.
Following Spurs elimination from the Europa League at the hands of Dynamo Zagreb last term, Lloris labelled the performance that night a "disgrace", before claiming: "I just hope everyone in the changing room feels responsible for the situation, because it's a disgrace."
Accountability is something Souness addressed while dissecting Spurs' 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea, berating their response to going a goal down after Thiago Silva's header opened the scoring.
"The thing that worries me about Spurs now after that incident no one pointed a finger at each other. That’s a reason to fall out with someone."
Souness went on to highlight the difference between Spurs and their visitors, explaining: "We talk about Chelsea and how wonderful they are, they’re all doing the basics right, stopping the cross, putting blocks in, pressing together.
"Spurs looked a team that’s not a team, they’re making fundamental mistakes which led to goals at this level you don’t do the basics right you get punished."

The Tottenham boss took some positives from the defeat, claiming: "Lots of things went wrong. It started from the way we conceded the first goal. I'm disappointed. After that it was really hard to get back. Chelsea are a good team.
"We had a very good first half. But we have a lot of improvement to make."
The stakes get even higher for Spurs next Sunday, with the shadow of the first north London derby looming larger with each passing day.
