Graeme Souness and Patrice Evra agree over Arsenal's 'perfect signing'

Pundits have been drooling over Arsenal's summer signing Willian.

The Brazilian winger arrived at Arsenal on a free signing after seven impressive years at Chelsea, making more than 250 appearances.

And according to former Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra, he is the 'perfect signing' for the Gunners.

“What a player," Evra said on Sky Sports. "I’ve always been a fan of Willian.

"I just think he’s the perfect signing for Arsenal. There will be less egos in this team, he needs love and players to trust him.

"He’s such an amazing talent.”

Fellow pundit Graeme Souness joined in with the praise for the new Arsenal winger, adding: "Even at 32, he’s still got so much to offer.

"Chelsea have that policy for over 30s, but I personally would’ve kept him. Great signing for Arsenal.

"They’ll get a couple of great years out of him.”

Willian brings a wealth of experience to the Emirates Stadium, winning two Premier League titles and a Europa League among other trophies at Chelsea.

The 32-year-old is also experienced on the international stage, racking up 70 caps for Brazil since his senior debut in 2011.
