Govanhill residents have slammed 'selfish' drivers who are putting the public at risk by repeatedly parking on pavements and over pedestrian crossings.
Residents of Calder Street fear drivers are putting local children at risk by leaving their cars at crossing points and potentially obstructing their vision while crossing.
Concerns have also been raised that the vehicles are creating accessibility issues for wheelchair users and people with prams.

One local told Glasgow Live: "It's just beyond belief how selfish drivers can be to park on pavements and dump their cars at pedestrian crossings.
"Their actions make it difficult for kids crossing the road and for anyone with a wheelchair or a pram to safely use the pavement. There seems to be no enforcement which drivers are exploiting. There are certain cars that park on the pavement every single day."
Councillor Soryia Siddique and Govanhill Hub chair Gordon Smith have been forced to raise the issue with Glasgow City Council and Police Scotland in a bid to get enforcement in the area.
Councillor Siddique described the parking as "unacceptable". She told Glasgow Live: "I have contacted police regarding ongoing parking complaints in Govanhill. There appears to be a need for a joint parking enforcement plan between Glasgow City Council and Police Scotland as a matter of priority."
There are currently no regulatory restrictions in the area with any enforcement the responsibility of police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland has been made aware of the complaints of parking in the Calder Street area.
"We would encourage all people to park in a safe and considerate manner and will continue to work with our partners to take action where it is appropriate to do so.”
