Kyle Walker has admitted Manchester City recognise the Premier League title race remains in their control after Sunday's 2-2 draw with Liverpool.
The two teams played out an exciting draw at the Etihad Stadium, with goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane helping the Reds back into the game on two occasions. Victory for Jurgen Klopp's side would have lifted them above the Sky Blues by two points, in a favourable position heading into the final seven games.
A share of the spoils is undoubtedly a result that serves as a better outcome for City, who know taking maximum points from their remaining fixtures will be enough to guarantee top spot. Liverpool will have to hope for a slip-up from Pep Guardiola's men while continuing to win each week to maintain the pressure.

Acknowledging the value of denying the Reds all three points, Walker stressed after the full-time whistle that the title is still City's to lose.
“I feel that it’s a step in the right direction to the end of the Premier League season,” he told mancity.com. "Anyone coming to the Etihad we want to take all three points, but today you take a point, we move on and they have still got to catch us.
"We are Manchester City, we want to win every game - especially when people come to our own patch. It was very important not to lose the game. We couldn’t lose the game and be trailing them because good teams like that don’t drop too many points.
“It’s in our hands. We go to sleep tonight, still top of the Premier League and that’s the important message we need to take onto the next couple of games we’ve got that our very important.”
