Gordon Ramsay's daughter Holly denies Love Island contestant rumours

Gordon Ramsay’s daughter has denied that she is set to appear on this year’s version of Love Island.

Holly Ramsay was rumoured to have been snapped by the hit ITV reality show in the media this morning.

The Scottish Sun reported that the 21-year-old model cancelled a string of work for the summer to appear in the villa.

But the fashion student has taken to social media to deny the speculation.

Writing on her Instagram story, Holly said: “Thanks for all the lovely messages, but no, I’m definitely not appearing on Love Island.”

Holly, who is the second eldest of the Scots chef’s five children, was said to have been a ‘big signing’ for the show according to a source.

If the rumours were true, then Holly would be the first name confirmed to appear on this year’s Love Island.

ITV revealed that the summer show will take place this year after the 2020 version was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The location of this year’s show is yet to be confirmed by show bosses, but there is speculation that it will take place at the iconic Mallorca villa.

But given the ever-changing picture of the pandemic, there is still every chance it could take place somewhere in the UK.

The last series of Love Island saw Scotland’s own Paige Turley take home the win during the first ever winter version of the programme last year.

Paige, from West Lothian, became the first ever Scot to be crowned Love Island winner after she paired up with current boyfriend Finn Tapp in the South African villa.

Reacted to the speculation over Holly Ramsay's potential appearance, a spokesperson for ITV said: "At this time any names being linked to the show are speculative."
