Gordon Ramsay helps future son-in-law Adam Peaty become a 'millionaire'

Gordon Ramsay has reportedly helped his future son-in-law Adam Peaty grow his business empire and become a millionaire.

The Olympic swimmer, 30, began dating Ramsay’s influencer daughter Holly, 25, in 2023 and the duo are set to marry at Bath Abbey at Christmas.

Peaty, who reportedly turned over a small profit in the first few years of his firm, was “inspired” by Ramsay’s earnings from his TV shows and restaurants.

The celebrity chef is said to be “happy to give Peaty advice” and sees the athlete - who is locked in a feud with his family - as his mentee.

And it appears to be paying off as the latest accounts for Adam Peaty Ltd show the company has an overall profit £1,415,200, The Sun reported.

This reportedly includes £129,037 of disposable income for Peaty and £100,00 worth of investments.

Peaty’s firm is registered with Companies House at the same address as Holly’s PR company, Holly Ramsay Ltd, which has not yet filed accounts after being set up last June.

“Adam has clearly been inspired by Gordon’s entrepreneurial success, from TV shows to cookbooks and restaurant chains, and he really looks up to him,” an insider said.

“Adam sees him like a mentor and Gordon is always happy to give him advice where he can help.

“He’s got the drive and people around him to really help him kick on and build his brand.”

The Standard has contacted representatives for Ramsay and Peaty for comment.

Peaty struggled to turn a profit in his early career and failed to get money-making opportunities despite winning gold at the 2016 Olympics in Rio De Janeiro at the 100 metres breaststroke.

By the end of 2016, Adam Peaty Ltd had retained earnings of £74,411 and had made £40,000 profit that year, according to The Sun.

His bank balance shot up after he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2021, where he met his future wife, Holly, whose sister Tilly was also competing.

Peaty now has six other active companies connected to his business AP Race, which runs swimming clinics and global competitions.

He set it up with former training partner Ed Baxter, who is the CEO.

“The initial aim was to run five Race Clinics across England and provide a unique experience for attendees,” the website states.

“With these events selling out in less than 9 minutes and the standard of the delivery of these clinics, Adam & Ed realised there was a huge opportunity to launch innovative projects to drive the swimming world forwards.

“Our mission is to improve every swimmer, coach, parent, official and fan’s journey as enjoyable as possible.”

Peaty’s financial success comes amid weeks of warring with his parents and extended family.

His mother Caroline Peaty, 59, was not invited to Holly’s hen do and is now reportedly banned from the marriage ceremony next month.

His father and various other family members are also reportedly no longer on the guest list and had invitations withdrawn from Boxing Day drinks with the Ramsays before the big day.

When Peaty flew back into Manchester Airport from his stag do in Budapest earlier this month, he was met by five police officers reportedly because of fears he might be assaulted.

It is alleged he had been receiving threatening messages from his brother - builder James, 34.

James was arrested on suspicion of harassment and questioned by police for two days before being released on conditional bail.

Caroline shared a desperate message with her son last week, calling for a reconciliation.

“I know it’s the end,” she told the Daily Mail.

“But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point.

“There’s nothing you’ve done that I would not forgive. I love you so much.

“I hope your marriage is a good one, I don't wish any ill on you and I want you and Holly to have a long and happy marriage, like your dad and me. The reason I’m speaking out is I want all this to end.”
