‘Good Morning Football’ adds interesting element to Hopkins vs. Brown debate

DeAndre Hopkins versus Antonio Brown is the new debate for who is the best receiver in the NFL, and there will be sundry ways that people argue each side.

One question that “Good Morning Football” posed recently was who would reach which milestone first in 2019. Would Hopkins catch his 600th career pass while with the Houston Texans in 2019 before the Oakland Raiders receiver caught his 900th career pass? Which would come first?

Some of the panelists took the side of Hopkins due to the fact he has better chemistry with quarterback Deshaun Watson. This prediction is based on what has been observed time and again. After all, Hopkins, in his first full season with Watson under center, caught 115 passes, which tied the franchise record for most catches in a single season.

Brown is working on his chemistry with Raiders quarterback Derek Carr, but the reality is no one can know what to expect. Brown would have the shortest ground to cover with 63 catches compared to Hopkins’ 72.
