Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid gushes at Judge Rinder's image transformation

Susanna Reid was blown away as Rob Rinder revealed his image transformation on Good Morning Britain.

The pair anchored today's edition of the ITV programme for the first of the celebrity judge's two guest presenting stints.

Rob and Susanna enjoy a strong relationship off-screen as he described the 50-year-old presenter as one of his best friends when he announced how excited he was to appear on the show.

He said: “I think being a seasoned barrister will stand me in good stead for hosting Good Morning Britain later this month, demonstrating I’m just as comfortable holding politicians to account as I am judging the week’s TV with Susanna on the Gogglebox sofa.

"Plus, who wouldn’t want the chance to guest present GMB alongside one of their best friends?”

And Susanna was left gushing as they shared a throwback photo of her good friend as a child on today's programme.

She said: "We've got Rob Rinder throughout the programme this morning, including when he was younger.

"That is a tiny Rob Rinder. Oh my heart! Honestly, how adorable."

Ranvir Singh was reading the morning headlines and she joked how the presenter hadn't changed his look.

She laughed: "You look exactly the same. Of course you are wearing a tux."

Judge Rinder's appearance on the show was a hit with viewers, who took to Twitter to praise the barrister.

Fi said: "Isn't Rob Rinder lovely as a presenter, what a calm and peaceful show (so far) today!"

Steph added: "Rob Rinder is a breath of fresh air."

Samuel commented: "Keep Judge Rinder. The man is hilarious"

Lorraine posted: "Can we please keep Rob Rinder on the show?"

Lisa said: "Have to say love Rob Rinder on gmb #GMB. Need to keep him on"

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV and ITVHub
