Good Morning Britain plunges into chaos as TV suffers with embarrassing blunder

Good Morning Britain experienced yet another awkward technical mishap on air on Wednesday.

Richard Arnold was oblivious to the huge error when he launched into his showbiz spiel about Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong's divorce.

Instead, of seeing Ant and Lisa as expected, images of this year’s Brit award performers - including Harry Styles and Lewis Capaldi - flashed on screen behind him.

In even more awkward scenes, the presenter failed to acknowledge the technical blunder.

“In what could be one of the biggest celebrity divorce settlements in British history,” Richard’s first showbiz segment began

“Ant has reportedly handed over more than half of his £50 million fortune to his ex wife Lisa Armstrong.”

Good Morning Britain was hampered with more errors as the next black screen had the words "ANT LISA ULAY JONNY" scrawled across it.

Much to the entertainment of viewers, there have actually been a number of on screen blunders during Good Morning Britain shows.

During Tuesday's installment presented by Peter Andre, more mysterious words flashed on a black screen for all the viewers at home to witness.

The words read: “GM COM 80K WK2 PETE ENDSLATE ATHENE.”

In November, Piers Morgan was pulled off screen while he was conducting an interview because his microphone wasn’t working.

The Mirror has reached out to Good Morning Britain's representatives for further comment.
