Golf fans roasted Brooks Koepka for his dreadful final round at the PGA Championship

After his third round on Saturday, Brooks Koepka seemed to take a shot at all those players ahead of him on the leaderboard, basically saying they hadn’t been there much and that he should be fine on Sunday as he looked to chase down his fifth major championship.

Then on Sunday he went out on the course and absolutely stunk up the joint with a 4-over 74 that landed him in a tie for 29th. He was never a factor after a 4-over front nine and he was rarely shown on television during what was an incredible final round.

For all the talking he did on Saturday, this performance deserved to be roasted. Rory McIlroy even took a shot at Koepka on Sunday, which was awesome.

But really, Koepka talked some smack and then was awful when it mattered the most.

Here’s how bad his round was on Sunday:

Brooks with a 74… Only one player, Jim Herman with a 75, shot higher. Three other 74s.
