If you’re one of the lucky golf fans who got to purchase tickets to the 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin, congratulations!
But there are a whole bunch of others — myself included! — who attempted to get tickets to one of golf’s best spectacles and failed.
The process started with fans logging into a virtual line Wednesday morning and waiting as a little figure slowly crossed the screen to indicate that you were getting closer to purchasing tickets. When it finally arrived at the end — a process that took a while for some people — you were allowed in. When I got in, there were no more match tickets available.
