Golden retriever can’t stay away from their owner in hilarious clip

An adorable golden retriever hasn’t quite got the memo about personal space and privacy when it comes to the bathroom - as this clip shows.

The gorgeous Jax only has eyes for his owner and cannot bear to leave her alone for even a second.

But this does have consequences for Jax’s mum when she goes to the toilet, as she never gets much time to herself.

Almost as soon as the goldie’s owner closes the door for some privacy, he comes bounding in and innocently trots right up to his mum.

The habit, which is supposedly a result of pack instinct, amused viewers after this video was uploaded by TikTok user @charleyandthebigguy.

Jax’s smile clearly enchanted both his owner and viewers in the clip, as nobody could bring themselves to criticise the needy pup.

Such is the canine’s fondness for bathroom attention that his mum has taken to calling it the petting room.

She also points out that perhaps Jax loves this location the most for petting as she cannot get away in a hurry!

Viewers thought the goldie was cute all the same though, with one user commenting: “That just made me laugh so hard. Jax is like mummy, do you need a bathroom partner in crime?”

Another commenter wrote: “My dog will literally block the toilet paper like I’m being held hostage til he’s had enough pets. They know we’re trapped.”

A third added: “Mine will barge in and lay her head in my lap. No sense of personal space.”

Jax isn’t the only one of his breed to have amused TikTok viewers recently though, after this goldie’s greed tickled their owner.

The hungry golden retriever is offered a slice of cheese by their owner, but only if they agree to take just a small bite.

However there appears to be a slight miscommunication, even after the owner’s helpful demonstration.

As soon as the goldie goes to take a bite, the entire slice of cheese is practically inhaled, disappearing much to the amusement of viewers.

Another golden retriever to have garnered attention of late is Baloo, who belongs to ITV ’s The Chase star Mark Labbett.

‘The Beast’ opened up on how his dog has helped him with his weight loss journey, becoming a source of inspiration for the 6ft6 quiz master.

Baloo and Mark love to walk together and the ITV star even called the goldie his very own ‘personal trainer’.
