
Visitors stroll beneath rows of golden-hued ginkgo trees at Showa Kinen Park in Tokyo on Saturday. Autumn leaves are seen on about 100 ginkgo trees along a 200-meter-long path in the park, which straddles the cities of Tachikawa and Akishima. The leaves are changing to a vivid yellow as in normal years, despite the fact Typhoon No. 24 caused some of them to fall early. The best time to view the "golden tunnel" is until late this month.
