Gold chains worth Rs 2.65 lakh stolen in Nashik

NASHIK: A total of three chain-snatching cases were reported across Nashik city between Saturday and Sunday wherein the complainants lost their gold chains worth Rs 2.65 lakh.

In the first case, a 62-year-old woman lost her gold chain worth Rs 70,000 in Ambad area on Sunday night. In the other two cases reported with Indiranagar and Mhasrool police stations, an 82-year-old woman and 71-year-old man lost their gold chains to bike-borne suspects. The woman’s chain was worth Rs 1.5 lakh while the one worn by the man was worth Rs 45,000. Both the crimes were committed on Sunday.
