Two of Gogglebox 's most-loved stars have assured fans they will be back for the next series as they wrapped up filming for Christmas.
This Friday will see a 'best bits' special celebrity episode airing instead of the usual new shows with the regular guests.
The traditional show will return in the new year with Dave and Shirley Griffiths confirming they will be back on the line up.
Taking to their official Twitter page to share the happy news, the married couple wrote: "We are all done for this year.
"So happy Christmas everyone and a happy new year see you next time love dave and shirley xxx."
The pair appear on the show from their Welsh home and have been married for 40 years as well as appearing on Gogglebox for the last five.
Best friends Jenny and Lee were recently hit with rumours that they wouldn't be returning to the programme.
However, they shit down these rumours and confirmed they would continue to appear in the next series.
But Lee has admitted in the past that he wasn't as keen as appearing on Gogglebox as Jenny was at the start.
Birmingham Live previously reported that Lee said: "To be honest and I didn’t want to do it.
"I’d say it took her about an hour and a half to talk me into it – about as long as it took me to get me out of bed."
The pair are some of the favourites as they film from Jenny's caravan in Hull.
One of the most recent episodes tackled the leaked Downing Street clip which showed Allegra Stratton, Boris Johnson's former press secretary, laughing about an alleged Christmas party that took place last year.
She joked about there being cheese and wine as well as a lack of social distancing measures, but has since quit her job since the video was leaked to the public.
The Gogglebox cast watched the video for themselves and made their opinions crystal clear.
Cast member Helena Worthington didn't hold back as she said: "We weren’t able to go to each other’s houses and then all them at Downing Street were having a rave-up!
"Look at them laughing their heads off, the bunch of t****.

"They’re laughing at us, they’re laughing at the NHS and they’re laughing at all the hard work that everybody’s done. They can shove their cheese up their a***."
Artist Giles Wood had a similar opinion on the situation as he said: "one rule for us peasants and another rule for the elite."
Pete Sandiford, who appears with his sister Sophie pointed out that hundreds of people had died on the day that Downing Street reportedly had their Christmas party.
Fans agreed with the cast's comments on the ordeal while the general public were under restrictions at the time.
