Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt announces her pregnancy in the sweetest way

Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt has revealed the joyous news that she is expecting her first child with her 'soulmate' partner Scott Dobinson. Scarlett, who shot to fame in 2014 on the Channel Four armchair critic show, shared her announcement on Instagram with an adorable video of their pet chihuahua Bonnie.

Bonnie wore a bandana announcing "I'm going to be a big sister." Next to Bonnie she had rested the baby scan as TV favourite Scarlett lovingly stroked her cute pet pooch.

"It truly feels like a dream writing this caption," said the excited mum-to-be. "Me & Scott are on cloud nine & we are so happy that we get to share this moment with you all. You are so loved already little one. Baby Dobinson coming soon."

Scarlett, 32, became a regular cast member on Gogglebox alongside her parents Mark and Betty from 2014 to 2016. She won the 16th series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2016 and went on to co-present the spin-off show Extra Camp and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. Scarlett also hosted the Channel Four revival of Davina McCall's matchmaking show Streetmate.

The congratulations came flooding in, including from ex EastEnders star and 2019 I'm a Celebrity winner Jacqueline Jossa who gasped: "Eeeeeeek congratulations darling xxx" and 2020 champion Giovanna Fletcher exclaimed: "Aaaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! Huge congratulations! Xxxxx"

I'm a Celeb's 2015 Queen of the Jungle Vicky Pattison told her with a stream of love heart-eyes emojis and hearts: "Omg congratulations mate." blue_eyes1987 said: "Well this is adorable."

sammyp44444444 said: "Oh my goodness congratulations what a cute announcement." And Scarlett's mum Betty commented: "So excited for our little bean."

On Valentine's Day Scarlett shared a loved-up photo of herself cuddling up to her man as she wrote: "My Valentine forever and always. Don’t know what I would do without you. So happy you came into my life, you make everything better. My soulmate."

Over on Scott's Instagram the 34-year-old wrote: "Happy Valentine’s Day to my favourite person in the world she is my jester, my best friend, my partner, my rock, my sunshine on a rainy day, my soulmate and most importantly my @scarlettmoffatt #love #valentines."
