Gogglebox fans 'give show a miss' over latest 'boring' viewing options

Gogglebox has been a much-loved favourite on TV since it began eight years ago.

But some of the Channel 4 shows loyal followers have said they may give the show a miss tonight over its latest viewing options.

Each week, our favourite armchair critics give their opinion on the latest TV shows and other news capturing the headlines.

And it's been confirmed that on tonight's show (March 12), the Gogglebox clan will be watching Oprah with Meghan and Harry and Piers Morgan's dramatic reaction on Good Morning Britain among other shows and new segments from across the week.

TV critic Scott Bryan confirmed on Twitter: "FYI: Gogglebox *will* be reviewing the Harry and Meghan Oprah interview, as well as what happened with Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain. This Friday night at 9pm."

But while many are eager to see what the popular families thought, others have had enough and have said they'll 'switch off'.

"Gutted!! As I love #Gogglebox but thanks for the heads up.... will give this Fridays one a miss," one replied.

Another said: "Please God NOOOOO! Haven't we already had enough of this. I don't want to switch off Gogglebox. This Oprah stuff is getting boring very quickly."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah Winfrey (Harpo Productions/Joe Pugliese v)

"Might not have the stomach to watch. Far too much coverage of the O.W show already," a third added.

A fourth commented: "Well now I know what not to watch on Friday at 9pm, then."

However, others think it's brilliant.

"I am gonna watch the living daylights out of this," wrote one.

Another said: "Get the popcorn, I am so ready for this episode."

"Telly gold," a third simply added.

This week the families were also seen watching BBC News' Royal Response, The Celebrity Circle For Stand Up To Cancer and Teen First Dates.
