Gogglebox families unimpressed with Line of Duty's H finale reveal

The stars of Gogglebox were unimpressed with Line of Duty's big "H" reveal - and Jenny even ripped up her famous notebook in frustration.

The highly-anticipated final episode of the BBC crime drama saw blundering Detective Superintendent Ian Buckells unmasked as "the fourth man" and OCG insider.

And watching for the Channel show on Friday night, the families went through a gamut of emotions as they watched AC-12 get their man.

"We've waited six series for H to be Buckells, who can't even spell definitely," a deflated Sophie in Blackpool said.

On the Siddiqui sofa, Baasit remarked: "He can't be H. If he's the fourth man there's definitely a fifth man."

As AC-12's interrogation of Buckells continues, Wiltshire couple Giles and Mary were struggling to follow the complex plot

"Tell me what's happening," Giles said. "I don't know," Mary responded.

"Eh? Is that it?", said Sue in south London to husband Steve as the credits rolled.

Following the downbeat ending - which saw AC-12 unable to root out institutionalised corruption in the fictional police force - Jenny furiously ripped the pages out of her famous Line of Duty notebook and threw one at Lee.

And Sophie said: "I'm not having this, no way, it's not Buckells.

"It's not Buckells," Pete agreed.

His sister added: "Did they have ten minutes to write the ending because something's really gone Pete Tong here."
