Notts County have completed the emergency loan signing of goalkeeper Alex Palmer.
The 22-year-old stopper has joined the Magpies from West Bromwich Albion due to both senior goalkeepers being unavailable for Saturday's trip to Crewe Alexandra.
Ryan Schofield will serve a one-match suspension after being dismissed for a professional foul in the 2-2 draw against Northampton, while Ross Fitzsimons has been withdrawn on doctor’s advice due to illness.

Palmer, who will return to West Brom after Saturday's match, is embarking on his second emergency loan of the season having helped Oldham Athletic to a 3-1 victory over Cambridge United in November.
The former England youth international has further first-team experience following a loan spell with Kidderminster in the National League, along with a number of Checkatrade Trophy appearances for the Baggies.
