GMB's Richard Arnold defies his critics with filthy innuendo on breakfast TV

Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Arnold had the perfect response for his critics as the start of today's show.

The much-loved showbiz reporter was reading out a complaint that had been made by a disgruntled viewer.

He said: "My complaint...and thank you for this...is 'can Richard Arnold go five minutes without an innuendo?'"

But Richard refused to give in to the haters and hit back with the perfect cheeky innuendo during the breakfast show.

Richard explained: "Here's my issue with this. I'm never on longer than five minutes...."

The naughty presenter then joked: "...and if I've got three minutes I'll slip one in."

Co-hosts Richard Bacon, Ranvir Singh and Sean Fletcher all burst out laughing in the studio.

And many viewers at home were also left in hysterics and took to Twitter to praise Richard.

"Love Richard's innuendos," said one fan.

Another added: "I love him and his innuendos. It’s what Tv needs instead of all this negativity."

"I hope Richard never stops his banter, very tongue in cheek but never offensive," argued a third.

However, not everyone watching was pleased to hear a cheeky morning gag.

One annoyed viewer said: "It’s quite tiresome actually."

"Please stop. It is very boring," added another.

A third spoil sport said: "The typical class clown trying to be funny but failing. when someone tries to be funny they usually aren't."
