GMB's Kate Garraway tells the universe she's 'reached her limits' following 'utterly terrifying' motorway incident

Kate Garraway has admitted she has now reached her limit and begs the universe for no more bad luck following an 'utterly terrifying' motorway incident.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain today, the 58-year-old told her co-host the moment her back tyre exploded while driving down a busy motorway over the weekend.

The incident happened while she was driving her and her kids back from Kent to home in London, to get back to her husband - who remains in serious condition after suffering from Covid-19.

“It’s the sort of thing you actually dread," she said while recalling the moment smoke and rubber flew everywhere as she lost control of the car.

She was forced to pull over and narrowly avoided an accident after being left in the way of oncoming traffic.

Kate says it was the first road trip her and her family have been on since husband Derek Draper was hospitalised, who is now recovering from being in a coma.

After kicking off the show with her terrifying account of her incident, she then begged the universe to not bring her any more bad luck.

"Could you squeeze any more drama into your life please?" Ben asked incredulously.

"You know people say God and the universe doesn't send you what you can't deal with." She said back.

"I would like to put a message out, I am at my limit, I am at my absolute limit now.

"If the universe could just give me a calm Monday!"
