GMB in another presenting shake-up as Susanna Reid is reunited with former co-host

The Good Morning Britain line-up is set to change again next week as Susanna Reid is reunited with a former co-host.

Adil Ray, who has been at the helm of the ITV show alongside Susanna since March, will be briefly swapped out for Bill Turnbull.

The breakfast television veteran will present alongside Susanna from Monday, May 24, until Wednesday, May 26, in a guest host slot.

It is not the first time Bill has sat in the GMB hot seat having filling in for Piers Morgan early last year, six years after they last presented live TV together.

Bill has said of his return: "I am very pleased to be back presenting on GMB, especially as I get to be reunited with my old pal Susanna."

Susanna added: "I am delighted Bill is back in the presenter chair at the GMB desk. He has been a beloved favourite of breakfast television viewers for years and a good friend of mine."

Viewers may recall Susanna and Bill co-presenting BBC Breakfast from 2003 up until Susanna left in 2014.

Bill then left the breakfast show in 2016 after fifteen years at the helm.

Bill's appearance on the show comes just a few short weeks after Alastair Campbell stepped up to co-host the show.

Alastair, who is the ex-right hand man to former Prime Minister Tony Blair, appeared on the show last week, coinciding with Mental Health Awareness week.

GMB hasn't made a permanent replacement for Piers Morgan since his sudden exit in March.

Susanna has remained at the helm of the show alongside Adil Ray as well as Ben Shephard since her co-host of five years left.
