GMB host Piers Morgan tells Phillip Schofield 'you come out, everyone else goes in'

Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan made a joke about the coronavirus lockdown in a remark to Phillip Schofield this morning.

This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby briefly appeared on Good Morning Britain after many ITV shows have seen a schedule shake up in response to the global pandemic.

Speaking to Phillip about social distancing, Piers said: "You come out, everyone else goes in."

The presenters then laughed, before Phillip confessed to giving Piers the line.

Phil said: "I gave him that line, I gave him that line."

Piers admitted "full copyright" of the remark belonged to Phillip Schofield.

Phillip came out as gay in a tearful interview with friend and co-presenter Holly last month.

The star's wife of 27 years Steph was supportive of Phil's decision to come out, as were his daughters Molly and Ruby.
