Richard Madeley has come under fire from Good Morning Britain fans who have criticised his interview with Queen star Adam Lambert.
The American idol singer was on the show to today to talk about his upcoming Las Vegas show with the iconic band.
However, Richard was accused of making the interview all about himself with fan fuming: "Please tell Richard Madeley to let guests speak instead of us having to watch him go on and on and on!
"Trying to listen to what Adam Lambert had to say but no, Dick just wouldn’t shut up!"
Richard, who is said to be gearing up to replace former host Piers Morgan on the show, was also called out for his line of questioning - quite literally.
One fan wrote: "Strange question of the day - Richard Madeley to Adam Lambert on GMB ‘Adam I love your eye liner, who does it?’…. Bizarre! Cringeworthy!"
While another posted: "Is Richard Madeley trying to outdo Alan Partridge? #Cringe."
Fans may have to prepare themselves to see a lot more of the former This Morning host as Richard appeared to hint at the possibility of him taking part in the latest series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.
Andi Peters had been promoting ITV's million pound competition and said: "With that kind of money, you could be drinking flat whites out of gold-encrusted cups and saucers. Oh, you won't get this in the jungle, Richard!"
"Listen mate, I'd kill for a coffee right now," Richard quipped. "I've got to go for a routine medical about midday today where you've got to fast for 12 hours, so I'm not even allowed tea and doing this show without caffeine!"
Quick as a flash co-host Susanna Reid asked: "Why are you going for a routine medical?"
"Oh, because I'm very old, Susanna," Richard smiled. "For insurance!"
Obviously suspicious, Susanna replied: "Oh... right. Hmm."
"You going to make everything into everything," he laughed.
Trying to backtrack the dad-of-two continued: "I'm asked this every year and I usually give an equivocal reply. And I've checked with ITV what they want me to say about it because I may be going in and I may not be going in.
The 65-year-old had earlier refused to rule out his appearance on the hit ITV show, after it was rumoured that he had signed a "£200k" deal to join the line-up.
