GMB apologise for Kate Beckinsale's top which 'slipped through the net'

Ben Shephard and Charlotte Hawkins were forced to apologise on Good Morning Britain after an outfit blunder 'slipped through the net'.

The presenters were discussing videos of Kate Beckinsale which show her feeding a fox. The actress hit the headlines last week as she shared several posts of a baby fox in her mum's garden.

However, this sparked a debate with many wondering if feeding wild animals is the correct thing to do. Alongside one of her latest videos, Kate wrote: 'I've been so touched during a really hard week by the absolute force that is kindness and friendship.

"Please, everyone, put kindness somewhere, anywhere. It's life-altering. Thank you so much to all my special people. And my little orphan bestie."

While many of the Underworld star's followers were left cooing over the footage, others questioned whether it was a good idea to encourage foxes to live in urban environments, reports NottinghamshireLive. During GMB, Ben and Charlotte were joined in the ITV studio by journalist Mark Palmer and wildlife gardener Kate Bradbury for a debate on the matter.

Mark argued that foxes shouldn't be treated like pet and that feeding them is 'irresponsible' while Kate believes it's 'our duty' to feed them after 'taking away their natural habitat'. She believes that there is no harm feeding foxes occasionally because there's less space for wild animals to find natural food.

However, during the debate, the video Kate posted on social media appeared on screen and unintentionally featured a swear word. She could be seen sat outside at a table with the fox while donning a hot pink blazer short suit over a white T-shirt which featured the word 'f***' several times.

Following the end of the debate, Ben said; "Also apologises... apparently the t-shirt in that video may have had a swear word on." He added; "I didn't see it but..." Charlotte then interjected: "If you're eagle-eyed and offended we apologise," before Ben added: "For letting that slip through the net."
