What’s new: Global logistics giant GLP Pte. Ltd. has named Tim Wang, former senior managing director of Blackstone Group Inc., as co-president of logistics and industrial real estate in China, GLP announced in a statement Thursday.
Wang, 52, is tasked with leading GLP’s logistics and real estate business in China, together with Angela Zhao, co-president of the business, according to the statement.
The background: Prior to joining GLP, Wang spent over a decade at Blackstone, and served as its senior managing director before he left. He worked for more than three years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s real estate principal division in China before joining Blackstone in 2010.
