Can you please clarify. Has the US Senate saved us from the threat of TTIP (Report, 13 May) – to which George Monbiot has done so much to alert us? Or will we still have to leave the EU to escape it?

• Up here in Orkney, the Guardian only arrives two or three times a week. However, we have had none since the election. Are you punishing us for not returning an SNP candidate?

• Hopefully one positive outcome of David Cameron’s victory will be the continuation of Mrs Cameron’s Diary in G2 each Wednesday.
