Italian club Parma are being linked with a move for Glentoran Academy youngster Jake Wallace.

Belfast Live understands Wallace recently spent three days on trial with the Serie A side.

The classy right-back is highly rated at Glentoran and is also believed to be on the radar of a number of clubs in England.

Parma discovered Wallace's talents on the WyScout professional football platform.

It is understood Fabio Liverani's side have already tabled a bid for the 16-year-old Northern Ireland youth international.

Another Irish League youngster attracting interest from across the water is Cliftonville teenager Conor Scannell.

The 16-year-old winger is understood to be wanted by both Huddersfield and Fleetwood Town.

Huddersfield have already added Northern Ireland youngsters Brodie Spencer and Conor Falls this summer.

Spencer is a graduate of Cliftonville's academy, while Falls came through Glentoran's underage ranks.

Fleetwood have plenty of Northern Ireland representation on their academy books, with Barry Baggley, Dylan Boyle, Carl Johnston, Scott Pengelly and Lewis Patterson all on their books.
