Glen Kamara Rangers transfer exit option as Bundesliga duo register 'interest' amid £8m 'bid'

Turkish giants Galatasaray have 'submitted a bid' of around £8 million for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, according to reports.

The Finnish midfielder has three years left to run on his deal at Ibrox but has watched teammate Joe Aribo seal a big move to the Premier League and Southampton this summer. Another in Calvin Bassey is expected to leave Rangers shortly as Ajax close in on a deal in excess of £20 million for the left-sided defender. 90 Min report that Galatasaray have 'launched a bid' for Kamara but the claimed £8 million figure 'will be not be enough for Rangers to consider selling.'

There's interest emerging from elsewhere too. German Bundesliga duo RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt - both of whom the Light Blues met on their run to the Europa League final last season - have 'had their interest piqued' as Marseille of France are also 'very keen.'

Premier League club Brighton are the other team named in the report as potential suitors for Kamara.

An international for Finland, the midfielder joined from Dundee in 2019 for a bargain price in the region of £50k and will make his team a substantial profit if he departs.

Boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has signed John Souttar, Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo and Malik Tillman so far this summer, while Ben Davies is also expected to join.
