Glen Kamara amidst there was transfer interest in him from a number of clubs in different countries.
But the Finn is fully focused on Ranger s’ bid to defend their Scottish Premiership title.
Kamara had been linked with the likes of Aston Villa, English Premier League new boys Brentford and Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine over the summer.
But the midfielder remained at Ibrox after helping them to a first league crown in a decade.
“From what I know, there has been some interest from different teams in different leagues,” he said.
“I know that, but my full focus is on the Rangers.
“If something had happened, then it would have happened.
“But it didn’t happen, and the focus is on the Rangers, which is something I look forward to.”
A new contract is on the table for Kamara with Steven Gerrard keen to tie him down.
The 25-year-old has spent four seasons in Scotland, the first of which was with Dundee before the Gers snapped him up in a cut price deal.
But he’s not yet committed his future and is happy to wait and see hope things progress before making his decision.
He added: “There have been talks and they have been on-going. We will see what happens.
“I can’t really tell you much and I can’t really say more about that.
“Let’s see what happens.”
Since moving to Rangers, Kamara has moved through the gears and is now one of his country’s main men in midfield.
Finland take on Lyon in France on Tuesday night, where Kamara will return with his club team on Europa League duty in a few weeks.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, Kamara was eager to test himself against the likes of Paul Pogba.
He said: “Every game you play in, you want to go in and do well and play well for your team. “It doesn’t matter who you are against.
“Obviously, you want to do well against the best players in the world. “I look forward to every game I play and Tuesday night.
“Hopefully we can do well against them, not just individually but collectively and hopefully we can get a result.”
