People make Glasgow.. and apparently our accents make us pretty sexy too.
The Glaswegian accent has been ranked the sexiest in Scotland and third hottest in the whole of the UK, according to a recent survey.
The results came from a poll by international media company Big 7 Travel, with readers around the world casting their votes.

The Essex accent came out on top as the sexiest in the UK, with Northern Irish in close second and Glasgow making the top three.
According to voters, the Weegie accent has people hot under the collar for its rich sounds and harsh vowels (aye right?!).

After Glaswegian, the next highest Scottish accent was Edinburgh, with the capital city placing 13th. The Highlands accent made it into the top 20, coming in 19th.
No other Scottish accents made the top 50, so its bad news for the rest - from Aberdeen to Ayrshire.
It's also sorry news for our Birmingham neighbours, as the Brummy accent came bottom of the bunch at 50th place. Your accent just isny as sexy as oors.
