A limited number of tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 are up for grabs after the general sale batch sold out in just 35 minutes in November.
Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young and The 1975 have been announced as headliners for the event, which runs over June 25-29. About 200,000 people are expected to make the trek down to Worthy Farm in Somerset.
“Tickets for Glastonbury 2025 have now Sold Out,” the festival posted on X. “Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those who missed out, on a morning when demand was much higher than supply.
“There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025.”
Support will come from Charli xcx, Doechii, Loyle Carner and Raye. Oh, and Rod Stewart will be showing up on the legends slot.
The resale will be for tickets that had not been paid for fully by the payment deadline. This was open from 9am on April 1 until 23.59pm on April 7 and asked attendees to stump up £303.50, including the £5 booking fee.
Those who did not pay had their £50 deposit taken and had their tickets removed to be resold.
When is the Glastonbury resale?
The sales are on Thursday 24 April and Sunday April 27.
General admission tickets with coach travel will go online from 6pm on Thursday and on Sunday from 9am it will be the turn of general admission tickets.
Everyone trying to get a place will need to register with the Glastonbury website. Registration closed on Wednesday April 23.
Those looking to buy the tickets in the resale will need to pay the £303.50 in one go.
And of course, there are other ways to get into the festival. Glastonbury has a strong tradition of volunteering, and charities like Oxfam and WaterAid often recruit thousands of volunteers to help run water stations, man the gates and staff the Oxfam charity shops. And there’s always the chance to join the festival’s army of litter pickers.
Otherwise, set your alarms in April, and get ready to do battle with the dreaded green bars of doom.
