Glasgow taxi rank disturbance sees yob chuck plant pot through hackney window

A huge plant pot was thrown through a taxi window during a disturbance at a rank in Glasgow city centre.

The incident took place at the rank at Buchanan Bus Station around 9:30pm on Wednesday night.

Eyewitness reports say the thug responsible threw the plant pot through the window of a hackney cab at the rank, then tried to attack another taxi driver who attempted to intervene, the Daily Record reports.

A picture from the scene shows the pot and flowers inside the taxi, with part of the window and smashed glass on the ground below.

One witness told the paper: "A guy threw a huge plant pot containing flowers through the window of the taxi - then threw it at another driver after he tried to stop him. The flowers took out the window and caused a lot of damage."
